- ****SOLICITATION NUMBER HAS CHANGED TO SPM4MG-08-R-0003**** It is anticpated that this solicitation will be issued on October 26, 2007 but this date is subject to change. 62 competitive items in FSC 3110. Solicitation will be for the set up of a firm fixed price Indefinite Quantity Type contract with a base period of one year and four one-year option periods. The majority of NSNs contain a source controlled drawing with MRC Bearings, Cage 38443, as the approved source. Offers will be evaluated on a line by line basis. Multiple contracts may be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Contractors may submit an offer on as many NSNs as they have the capability to perform. Terms are FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. Possible stock delivery locations are any CONUS facility. The solicitation will contain mandatory surge requirements. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated solicitation issue date is 9/26/07 with a closing date of 10/26/07. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP.
