Description
Description: See numbered notes: 9, 26, and 27. NSN 2510-01-175-7219, Frame section, structural, vehicular being bought in accordance with Army (19207) drawing 12338223 and all related data. This part requires a contractor First Article Test (FAT). The total quantity required is 3800 each to be shipped to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5000. The solicitation also includes a 50% option for up to 1900 each which may or may not be exercised.. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 9/28/07, hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Technical drawings/bid sets are available after the above issue date via e-mail to cddwgs@dscc.dla.mil or via voice mail to our 24-hour request line at 614-692-2344. Requests should include the RFP number, opening/closing date, NSN, purchase Request Number, buyer?s name and your complete name and address. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small HUBZone business concerns. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and delivery. The required delivery is 1000 each in 60 days plus 1000 each every 30 days until complete with FAT waived and 1000 each in 180 days plus 1000 every 30 days until complete with FAT required. In a final rule contained in the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26 (Item 1, FAR Case 2002-24) published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2004, the Federal Acquisition Regulation was amended to require offerors to submit representations and certification electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors are encouraged to complete an Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement will be appearing in solicitation in the near future. The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Until ORCA is fully implemented continue to comply with all government instruction and requirements in solicitation and contract awards.
