Description
This is a combined synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is RFQ M-OAA-DHCA-DOFDA-07-1926 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 323119. This requirement is unrestricted and only interested offerors may submit a quote. Quotations shall address the requirements in attachment 1 of the RFQ. The Standard Form 1449 shall be filled and duly signed and submitted with your quotation. Quotations must be submitted via e-mail to Yvonne Wilson, Contracting Officer, at ywilson@usaid.gov. Proposals shall be submitted electronically and received by the stated closing date and time. 1.0 - Introduction: The United States emergency response to current deteriorating humanitarian conditions due to natural disasters and complex emergencies around the world requires USAID/OFDA to immediately purchase commodities to increase warehouse inventory to levels to both support ongoing responses and field operations and provide lifesaving timely responses to unpredictable future disasters. The capacity of the United States Government (USG) to quickly respond to international emergencies is dependent on having access to the requested commodities in a timely manner. To accomplish this, USAID/OFDA maintains stockpiles of required materials. As these commodities are drawn down to fulfill emergency requests, they need to be replenished in preparation for the next emergency situation. This Scope of Work defines OFDA?s requirement for the provision of such service. 2.0 - Technical Requirements and Specifications: This procurement is for 15,000 USAID decals and 60 USAID Magnetic Vehicle Insignia?s as further detailed in attachment 1 of the RFQ. The authorized source, origin and nationality for this procurement is geographic code 000, United States of America. 3.0 - Delivery: Delivery shall be made to the destinations stated in the Statement of Work, in accordance with FAR 52.247-34, F.O.B. Destination. 4.0 - Inspection and Acceptance: Inspection and acceptance will take place at the Contractor's facilities, in accordance with FAR 52.246-4 INSPECTION OF SERVICES FIXED PRICE (AUG 1996). Inspection and acceptance of all deliverables required hereunder shall be performed by the cognizant USAID CTO for this Purchase Order or his/her designee. 5.0 - Marking requirement: Marking shall be in accordance with clause AIDAR 752.7009 Marking (JAN 1993).
