- This synopsis provides advanced notice that a solictation will be issued. When the solicitation is issued, it will be posted at: http://www.msc.navy.mil/, click on "Contracts," then "Requests for Proposal/Quotation (RFP/RFQ)," then search for N00033-08-R-6507. The desired outcome of the proposed acquisition is (1) assisting the Government project manager in the management, implementation and training needs for the IT aspect of Human Resources Management System (HRMS) for the Afloat Personnel Management Center (APMC); (2) providing IT support for the continuing enhancement, ongoing maintenance of and training related to the Financial Management System (FMS); (3) providing IT support for other MSC IT systems; (4) providing IT support for FMS through the remaining phases of the IT project culminating in the full operational capability of the system; (5) developing IT training for the various IT systems as required and directed by MSC; and (6) providing global helpdesk Tier II functional support for the FMS, FMS-Standard Procurement System (SPS) integration, and HRMS.
