Description
THIS IS AN AMENDMENT TO THE PREVIOUS COMBINED SYNOPSIS AND SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FM441972260046 is hereby issued as a FOB Destination Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-27. This acquisition is classified under North American Industry Classification System code 336212. A Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order will be issued in writing. Altus AFB, Oklahoma has a requirement for: (QTY: 1) TRAILER SPECIFICATIONS 1. TRAILER DEMINSIONS: Specifications: 7?0? for inside height. 8? Body Width (96? Outside Body Width, 102? Overall Width At Wheel Well), 80? Inside Wheel Well Width, 48? Rear Entrance Width, 76? Rear Entrance Height, 41-1/2? Tongue Length, 20? Total Length. 2. UNDERCARRIAGE: Consist of rubber torsion axles with all wheel independent suspension and greasable hubs for easy lubrication. The trailer must also have electric brakes on all wheels, have radial "E" rated tires on silver modular wheels with chrome center caps, a spare tire (Wheel and rack), and undercoating along with sound reduction undercarriage and fenders. 3. COUPLER AND JACKS: Consist of an adjustable height hook coupler with safety chains and hooks. Needs a 7,000 pound single drop leg jack (single speed with Sand Plate), and an emergency breakaway system: switch, cable, and battery box complete w/ battery and charger. 4. FLOORING: We chose the .190 aluminum mil finish floor w/ vinyl skid proof covering added (Vinyl floor covering, black or gray, coin pattern, .075" thick VINYL one piece, removable for cleaning). We chose a metal floor inside because of the durability of the metal and how often we use the trailer. Rubber flooring after time will have grooves worn into it. Wood flooring will have to be treated periodically and can chip and splinter. 5. WALL AND CEILING OPTIONS (EXTERIOR): Consist of an all steel tubular frame material and side structures w/ pre-painted aluminum side panels. The roof constructed from aluminum w/ vulcanized edges. Additional roof features include: low profile 6? radius corner aluminum, and an aluminum extruded roof rail w/ receiver groove. The trailer also needs to have exterior aluminum tread plate gravel guards. 6. LIGHTING: Trailer must have DOT required lighting preferably LED-type (Stop, Turn, Tail, Marker, Clearance & Conspicuity Tape). Trailer must also have two to three 12-volt interior dome lights and three 48? two bulb fluorescent light fixtures. Inside electrical outlets of the trailer will consist of four 120-volt outlets. Additional items include A 30-amp, 120-volt shore power cord and receptacle w/ GFI (approx. 25? Length cord). Total of four 110 VAC 500 Watt halogen exterior scene light mounted in recessed housing Total of two exterior mounted telescoping pole - 500 Watt quartz scene lights mounted with switch 7. CARGO AREA: Consist of a 4-ft wide rear ramp door with cable spring assist, a 14?x 14? roll-up roof vent which is pre-wired for roof mounted AC/Heat unit, a 36? custom heavy duty curb side door with window, gas spring, retainer and fold out step, roof and wall insulation, white aluminum wall and ceiling covering, and an SS grab handle by the door. 8. SHELVING, CLOSETS AND CABINETS: 1. Adjustable shelving 24? Deep x 48? Wide x 6? Tall ? 3 Moveable shelves with bottom shelf fixed. Located over generator fuel tank compartment 2. Fixed shelving above workbench (3 sections of shelving with 2 shelves each 36?). Each shelf is 10? Deep x 36? Wide with 2? high lips constructed of aluminum. (See drawing below) Fixed shelving 8" deep above work benches 10 ft long with two shelves each 36" section of shelving 3. Double door deep storage closet (NO SHELVES) for hanging suits (Level A & B) and equipment (54?x24?x78?) 4. 10 Feet of lower aluminum cabinets with .190" thick aluminum work top and trim, two drawers in each base cabinet (4 base cabinets, 30" Wide 40? Tall, two drawers for each cabinet, with one large door for storage under the two drawers in each cabinet) Drawer 9. Design Features & Hardware Low Profile 6?
