- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Acquire fifteen (15) each of Hewlett Packard (HP) Compaq 6715b notebook personal computers (PCs), maintenance, carry cases, travel mouse(s), smart card readers, and dock stations. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation and is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), number H94002-07-Q-0069. This solicitation is 100% small business set-aside in association with NAICS Code 423430 - Computer and Computer Peripheral Equipment and Software Merchant, with a small business size standard of 100 employees. The TRICARE Management Activity intends to solicit and award one single firm-fixed price purchase order under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13. Aurora, Colorado which consists of increased security parameters that is set at all Department of Defense locations. The use of an equal model or other brand name product shall lead to additional labor and costs to the government involving subsequent maintenance of various original equipment manufacturer (OEM) software which will lead to a decrease in efficiency and more downtime to the users.
