- The Government intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, a firm-fixed-price (FFP) acquisition with Research in Motion Corporation. This non-competitive action is being issued by GovWorks under the authority of the Department of the Interior Franchise Fund on behalf of the HQ AFOSI/XIP. This action is being processed in accordance with FAR 6.3, FAR 12, FAR 16.202-1 and FAR 13.302-1. The Government has a requirement for one year of Research in Motion's Blackberry TX2 Support, TX2 Annual Server Fee and the TX2 Annual Active Client License Fee. The anticipated award date is September 14, 2007. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities and submit inquiries via email by 12:00pm September 13, 2007 to Kyra.Hemphill@aqd.nbc.gov. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. All information received will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based in this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
