- DESCRIPTION - This is a combined synopsis/solicitation issued by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2, Albuquerque, New Mexico prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number 201817Q060 is issued as a request for quotations and incorporated provisions and clauses that are in effect through FAC2005-18, Effective June 30, 2007. This procurement action is unrestricted and the solicitation is being issued as Request for Quote (RFQ) Brand Name or Equal FAR 52.211-6. The NAICS code is 333298, small business indicator 500 employees. The contract price magnitude for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge, Hidalgo County, Alamo, Texas and Laguna Atascosa NWR, Camero County, Rio Hondo, Texas has a requirement for the following items: Turnkey Installation for CAT Manual ATS at Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge Main Administration Buildings; Accessories & On-Site Services: Delivery of Equipment to Site, Furnish Material, Labor & Equipment (All Stainless) for the Electrical Installation of the Cat Series CTGM-600A-2 Pole-120/240V-1 Phase 3 Wire-60 HZ-Nema 4X Stainless Steel Enclosure Manual Transfer Switch. One (1) 600A-2 Pole-120/240V-1 Phase-3 Wire-60Hz-Nema 4X Stainless Steel Enclosure-Main Fused Disconnect Switch. Cam-locs (4) Parallel Per Each Phase. Cabling for Gen-Set to Manual Transfer Switch. Feeder Cabling from Manual Transfer Switch to 600A Main & Hook-up Rack. CAT ATS Factory Warranty - 2 Years require 3 each BASIS OF AWARD: The government anticipates award or a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive/responsible quoter whose quote conforms to the solicitation and is most price advantageous to the government. Award will be made on a best value analysis to include price, past performance, certifications, and quality. Offeror(s) proposing alternative types/brands than those indicated bear the burden of proof that an item is in fact equal or better. PLACE OF DELIVERY - Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge, Highway 28, Farm Road 907, Hidalgo County, Alamo, Texas 78516 and Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge, PO Box 450, Camero County, Rio Hondo, Texas 78583. LEGAL OBLIGATIONS - The contractor shall be responsible for the observance of all applicable Federal, State, and local laws governing the shipment of this item and maintaining any required management practices. RULES AND REGULATIONS - The contractor shall deliver in the conformance with such appropriate Refuge regulations as the Manager may prescribe, and shall also conduct the operation as not to interfere with or endanger the ordinary use of structures, roads, utilities, and other Refuge facilities. Special attention should be given to the protection of facilities, wildlife and vegetation adjacent to the delivery areas.
