- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. However, to facilitate submittal of quotes through electronic commerce and to view all applicable clauses and attachments an RFQ will be issued via www.fedbizopps.gov. Quotes are due on or before September 24, 2007, 4:30 PST. The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, Boulder City, NV, has a requirement for a Seabotix, underwater remote operated vehicle. A brand name product has been specified for this requirement. The justification for this requirement is based on the following unique features: The Seabotix LBV 105 SE offers a plug and play system, lateral thrusters, high powered efficient thruster motors, crash frame, 574 ft umbilical on reel, and a lightwight compact system that can be deployed by one person. One Seabotix LBV150 SE ROV with options will be needed to fulfill this requirements. See the RFQ for a list of specific requirements. Delivery Point: Bureau of Reclamation 500 Fir Street Boulder City, NV 89005 Delivery Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am-11:00am and 12:00pm-4:00pm The requirement is being procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 334511. The size standard is 750 employees. Large businesses are encouraged to respond in the event that no responsive small businesses submit reasonable quotes. First priority for award will be to small businesses. Vendors are reminded that they must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration to be considered for award. Vendors can register at www.ccr.gov.
