- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II)Solicitation #W912J3-07-T-0025 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The RFQ will result in a firm fixed price contract. (III)This solicitation incorporates provisions an d clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-20. (IV)This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses, however the Government is accepting proposals from large businesses. In the event of insufficient s mall business concern participation, award will be made to a participating large business. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 334220, small business size 750. (V) COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION: The New Mexico Army National Guard is soliciting eighteen (18) Motorola XTS 5000 radios with rechargeable batteries (with a minimum of 8 hour capacity); four (4) Multi-unit charger for the XTS 5000 radios (5 bay); 2 Base stations to include installation and external outdoor antenna that can communicate up to15 miles for the XTS 5000 Base station; one to be set up at White Sands Missile Range and the other to be set up at the Troop Command building, Onate Training Range, 47 Bataan Blvd, Santa Fe, NM 87508. . (VII) Delivery 30 days from award to: USPFO fo r NM Warehouse, Attn: Cpt Todd Kontny, 505-474-1569, 66 Bataan Blvd, Santa Fe, NM 87508-4695, FOB Destination. (VIII) The following provisions in their lastest editions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial, FAR 52 .212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items. (IX) The Government anticipates awarding a Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation, to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the best value to the Government. Best value consideration include price, past performance. All Evaluation factors other than price, when combined are significantly less important than price.
