- The Government intends to award a contract to BAE Systems, Phoenix, AZ for the purchase of a Crew Protection Kit for Truck, Tractor, M1070, 8x8 Heavy Equipment Transporter (HET) PN: 113400-1-103 (desert tan) NSN: 2540-01-520-6826, manufactured by the m. BAE Systems is considered a sole source for this requirement. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Contract will be awarded unless another firm can provide eq uivalent equipment compatible with BAE Systems HET within a 60 day time frame. Equipment offered must meet all characteristics of the part numbers listed in this announcement. All responsible business firms must respond in writing prior to 1000 19 Septem ber 2007.
