Description

The Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Hood, TX, has a requirement for SARSS printer MRO Paper six (6) cases and Bin Labels six (6) cases. Headquarters, 589th Brigade Support Battalion, 4th Infantry Division has a requirement for these items to meet an existing need and for compatibility reasons. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document exists. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued (oral offers will not be accepted). American Business Forms is the only known manufacturer, seller and distributor of these products. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies within the establishe d timeframe is invited to submit written notification to the Contracting Specialist within the timeframe stated below. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firm's ability to provide the stated supplies within the es tablished timeframe. Information can be sent to the Contract Specialist via e-mail at: madge.lewis@us.army.mil. Responses received from other responsible businesses prior to 12:00pm Central Standard Time on 19 September 2007 will be evaluated. No telephone responses will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no r responses a re received, Directorate of Contracting will proceed with the sole source contract.
