- This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (F2V3AR7230A006) is being issued as a Request for Quotation. This notice and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19. This requirement is being set-aside 100% for Small Businesses. The Attached Pricing/Delivery Schedule shall be used to submit quotations in response to this notice. CLINS for this requirement will be uploaded to this website as an amendment and can be downloaded once it is posted. The item description is as follows: Line Item 0001: 1 EA Automatic CNC BandSaw able to cut 16" height and 18" width with an auto coolant system and automatic material feed capability. The unit must have the capacity to run up to 400 surface feet per minute with a safety switch that shuts the machine down if blade breaks. Shut off safety switches must be red in color. Mfr: W. F. Wells, Inc. Part No. F161ACNC OR EQUAL. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 423830, and the size standard is 500 employees. Quotes must list the DUNS number, CAGE code, and Federal TIN. The following FAR and DFARS provisions and clauses apply: FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial. In accordance with 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items offers will be evaluated based on total price. 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification Commercial Items. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items apply to this solicitation. The clauses from 52.212-5 Deviation, Contract terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. The clause 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items applies to this acquisition and are incorporated as follows: 252.225-7001 Buy American Act and balance of Payments Program, 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Request.
