- This is a market research, sources sought announcement only-solicitations are not available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment from the Government. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) located at 5000 South 13th Street, Leavenworth, KS 66048 requires a modification to the Flex Pick 1 Labeling Conveyor. The exisiting Flex Pick 1 Labeling area has the incoming totes filled with unlabeled product entering the labeling area at a height that requires employees to reach down, pull and lift the tote, and place it on the desktop. The employee then labels all necessary product, places it back in the tote, then lifts the tote and places it on the upper outgoing conveyor. The new layout must be in the same area but the conveyor may be extended to allow for height changes. Any relocation of the FlexPick 1 labeling PC's, printers, workstations, lighting, power, power poles, fiber optic network including all parts, materials and labor required to convert the existing conveyor to the new ergonomic layout will be manufactured, supplied and installed by the contractor. All work performed will comply with the National Electric Code and local building codes. A Government proposal to provide this service is being considered, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
