- DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number VA-250-07-RQ-0179 is being issued as Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19. This requirement is unrestricted under NAICS Code 336111, Size Standard 1,000 employees. REQUIREMENTS: The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 1000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141 (hereafter known as the VAMC), is seeking one customized van for spinal cord injury patients. This vehicle will be used to train the spinal cord injury patients the skills and techniques of how to drive again using adaptive equipment. The vendor shall deliver the van to the Louis Stokes Veterans Medical Center, Motor Pool, 10000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141. FOB destination. Quotes will be due the Friday, September 21, 2007 by 4:30 pm EST. Only written quotes will be accepted. Any offer that does not meet the solicitation requirements as deemed by the Contracting Officer may be rejected as non-responsive.
