- This is a Presolicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice and its attachments constitute the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and an electronic solicitation will be issued within 3 to 5 business days of this positing. Solicitation number HSSS01-08-R-0002 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) under Federal Acquisition Circular 05-16. The NAICS code is 811490 other personal and household goods repair and maintenance, and the small business size standard is $6.5 million. This is a total small business set aside. The United States Secret Service (USSS) has a requirement for preventative maintenance of cardiovascular and weight equipment for six USSS facilities located in Maryland and Washington DC area. The anticipated period of performance for the base year is 10/01/2007 through 09/30/2008 with two option years from 10/01/2008 through 09/30/2010. This award is subject to the availability of funds. This solicitation will use competitive Request for Quotation procedures and will only be available by downloading from this web site. Proposals are due by 12 noon EST on Thursday, September 20, 2007. Contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive a contract award. The Government will not be responsible for any costs accrued or incurred by the vendor in response to this solicitation.
