- 1.0 WORK DESCRIPTION The work consists of construction of a partition wall with door, providing new flooring and ceiling, replacing door, lighting fixtures and windows, interior painting, providing a split-system heat pump [Additive Option] and incidental work for a ~14'-4' x 23'-2" (~330 sqft) space. Refer to Appendix A for photographs and drawings. Note: Owner will remove all furnishings, stored materials, etc. from space prior to work start. The Contractor providing the work under this contract shall be appropriately licensed to perform the work. The work shall be performed by personnel experienced in the type of work described herein. 2.0 INTENT It is the USDA, Western Regional Research Center's (WRRC) intent to procure work as described herein. The work shall include all labor (including engineering considerations), material, and equipment necessary to perform the tasks described herein. 3.0 GENERAL INFORMATION The jobsite is on University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) property. All personnel under the auspices of the Contractor, including subcontractors, material suppliers/deliveries, vendors, and visitors/guests, shall comply with USDA/UNR policies and procedures while on the jobsite. Work shall be coordinated through USDA/UNR, Exotic & Invasive Weeds Management Unit (Mr. Charlie Clements, (775)784-6057, ext. 226), hereafter referred to as Owner.
