- Amendment 0002 - This amendment is being issued to extend the closing date to 2:00 P.M. EST on September 14, 2007. All other terms and conditions of the RFQ remain unchanged. Original Synopsis - This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A request for quotation (RFQ), KOAIN8RE010 Carpet Cleaning Services, is available in a PDF file and to obtain a copy, contact the contract specialist, Teresa Knotts at (614) 693-1974 or by email at teresa.knotts@dfas.mil. The RFQ will include a Statement of Work, Exhibit 1, and the applicable wage determination. The RFQ document and incorporated clauses/provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-17. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 561740, Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Services, and the size standard is $4,500,000.00. The requirement is for carpet cleaning services to be performed at Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), Rome, 325 Brooks Road, Rome, NY 13441. The factors to be used in the evaluation of offers will be price and past performance. The resulting contract will be for one base year and include two one-year option periods. The base year period of performance is to be October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008 with inspection and acceptance at destination and F.O.B. destination.
