- The Social Security Administration intends to issue on a sole-source basis a firm fixed priced purchase order to LexisNexis Academic and Library Solutions to renew two subscriptions the Congresssional Content Fiche Services which includes the following collections: The subscription includes microfiche and digital access to search the following collections: Serial Set (1789-1969) Serial Set Maps (1789-1969)Committee Prints (1830-present) Hearings (1824-1969) House & Senate Reports (1819-1969) House & Senate Documents (1817-1969) CRS Reports (1916-present) and Statistical Universe Annual Fiche Services, microfiche/digital subscriptions which include the following collections: American Statistics Index: Data published by hundreds of executive, legislative, or judicial sources. Statistical Reference Index: Statistics contained in publications from more than 1,000 leading sources: associations and institutes, businesses and commercial publishers, state government agencies, research centers, and universities. Index to International Statistics: Covers more than 2,000 inter-governmental organizational titles annually, from approximately 100 issuing sources, including: United Nations main and subsidiary bodies, regional commissions, and specialized agencies; the European Union; the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development; the Organization of American States; and some 35 other inter-governmental organizations. These resources contain statistical and congressional content used by economists, actuaries and legislative and budget analysts for research purposes. The period of performance is for a 12-months beginning October 1, 2007 Through September 30, 2008. Under FAR Part 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Sources Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13 will be used. LexisNexis is the only known source that can provide the content in these research collections. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, but merely notification of the Government's intent to renew its subscription for Docutector. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response hereto will not be honored or acknowledged. The Government does not intend to pay for information provided in response to this publication. If an acceptable response is not received within 3 business days of this announcement, an order will be issued to LexisNexis. Respondents should refer to 0951-07-1008.
