- This is a standing solicitation (proposals may be submitted at any time) for Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) 72, Part II, FURNISHINGS (including Lamps/Lighting Fixtures; Window Treatments (draperies, blinds, shades, accessories, hardware); Coordinating Bedspreads/Comforters; Cubicle Curtains; Wall Art (paintings, photographs, posters); Artificial Trees, Plants, Dried Foliage, & Planters for Indoor use; Other Decorative Wall/Tabletop Accessories; Ancillary Services; and International Fabric). The solicitation will be available on or about 9/7/2007; it includes all current applicable clauses. The solicitation also includes an option for Recovery Purchasing, which allows state or local governments to use the schedule to facilitate recovery from a major disaster (natural catastrophe) declared by the President. Contracts will be effective for a 5-year period beginning Date of Award and include an option to extend for three additional 5-year periods. CURRENT CONTRACTS EXPIRING BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 2007 AND DECEMBER 2007 WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR A 5-YEAR EXTENSION IN ACCORDANCE WITH CLAUSE I-FSS-163, OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT (EVERGREEN) (APR 2000). ADHERENCE TO THE TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE CONTRACT, SUFFICIENT SALES, PARTICIPATION IN GSA ADVANTAGE, CENTRAL CONTRACTOR?S REGISTRATION (CCR), COMPLETION OF ON-LINE REPRESENTATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS (ORCA), ETC. WILL BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION FOR EXTENSION. Certified 8(a) firms can participate in the MAS Program. Submission of products with environmental attributes are encouraged. All items are 100% set-aside for small business. North American Industry Classifications System (NAICS) Codes include 313312, 314121, 314129, 225121, 337920, & 339999; size standard for all is 500 employees.
