- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm, fixed price supply type contract to be negotiated on a 100 % small business set-aside for a Nerve Integrity Monitoring System in support of US Naval Hospital Yokosuka, Japan 96350-1600. The nerve integrity monitoring system must be capable of increased sensitivity with reduced interference. Key features: User friendly touchscreen and menus, Increased sensitivity with reduced interference, Printable log of patient's EMG activity, Ability to hear and identify smaller EMG signals to help minimize nerve manipulation during surgery, Reduced susceptibility to interference, Less noise and fewer false positives, Improved emissions for minimal impact on ABR monitoring, Able to detect events of lower amplitude. Medtronic Oxmed's NIM-Response 2.0 to comply with Class B emission standards OR EQUAL Delivery is required to be within approximately 30 days or less after contract award with inspection and acceptance FOB Destination and shipping direct to Supply Officer, US Naval Hospital, Yokosuka, Japan, Honcho, Yokosuka, Kanagawa 238-0041. This acquisition will be made in accordance with FAR Part 15, utilizing Low Price Technically Acceptable evaluation. This procurement is issued as a 100 % small business set-aside. The solicitation will be issued on or about 11 September 2007 with a closing date of 18 September 2007. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price supply type contract. Prospective offerors not CCR-registered should immediately begin the registration process. The solicitation will be posted to the NECO web site: www.neco.navy.mil under ?Business Opportunities? under solicitation number N00406-07-T-1863. The Government will NOT distribute hard-copy solicitations or amendments. The Government will not mail, fax, or e-mail the solicitation or any amendments thereto. Subsequent amendments, if any, will be transmitted solely via the NECO web site. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the NECO web site early and periodically for any solicitation amendments. Prospective offerors should not expect notification that an amendment has been issued. The NECO web site is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance.
