- The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a sole source Firm Fixed Price contracts with Watts Backflow Prevention Products for Backflow Preventer parts such as 10 (ea) 4? Vent Assy, P/N RK909M1VT, 10 (ea) 4? Check Assy, P/N RK909CK2 and (10ea) 3? Vent Assy P/N RK909VT. It will also negotiate Sole Source with Wilkins Water Control Products for Backflow Preventer parts such as 2 (ea), 6? Vent Relief Assy, P/N 977A-33, 2 (ea) 6? #2 Check Assy, P/N 9510-300, 2 (ea) #1 Check Assy, P/N 9710-300 etc. Multiple awards are anticipated. These parts are required by 15 October 2007. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332911. When the Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued, it may be downloaded by accessing http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
