- The U.S. Geological Survey, WRD Discipline located in Troy, NY has a requirement for Industrial Air Conditioning replacement. The work must be performed in accordance with the following: 1) Furnish and install (1) LIEBERT model #BU067A-CAEI Challenger/3000 Environmental control unit to replace the existing 5-ton 67,000 BTU/H upflow air-cooled electric-reheat infrared humidifier unit. 2) Furnish and install (1) LIEBERT model# DCSF083-Z Air cooled condensing unit on the roof of the building to replace the existing unit. 3) Furnish and install (1) LIEBERT "Upflow" supply air plenum and air distribution diffusers. 4) Furnish and install the reconnection of the existing (1) copper refrigeration line set between the indoor unit and the outdoor unit. 5) Furnish the reconnection of the existing 208 volt, 60 Hz-3 electrical feed lines. 6) Furnish the reconnection of the condensate pump system to expel all condensate to the building sanitary drainage system. 7) Furnish and install all low voltage controls and wiring. 8) Furnish all lifting and rigging. 9) Furnish all factory start-up, R22 refrigerant, testing and balancing. 10) Furnish a full (1) year labor warranty with (5) year compressor warranty, Parts only. 11) Furnish removal and disposal of existing LIEBERT Challenger 2 indoor unit and outdoor unit. Firms who feel that they can furnish the required items based on the RFQ 07ERQQ0202 are invited to submit in writing an affirmative response to this announcement. THIS ACQUSITION WILL BE MADE UNDER THE SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. The Product Service code is N041. The NAICS code is 238220. Quotes are due at 2:00PM on 09/13/2007. The anticipated award date is 09/17/2007. All responsible sources who have a valid Dun and Bradstreet Number may submit a quotation.
