- This is not a request for proposal. This synopsis is for informational and planning purposes only and it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this synopsis. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up requests. Andersen AFB, Guam has a requirement for roofing, metal decking, and truss systems. The solicitation or request for quotation will be issued on or about 12 September 2007. The NAICS code is 238160. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. POTENTIAL CONTRACTORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION WEBSITE (http://www.ccr.gov) and have their Representation and Certifications Application filed under the new ORCA database (http://www.bpn.gov). If Representation and Certifications are not in the ORCA website then Representation and Certifications, FAR 52.212-3, must be accomplished and submitted with quote to be eligible for award. FAR 52.212-3 will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on the Internet at the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fedbizzops.gov). Please note that paper solicitations will not be issued, and all documents related to this requirement will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website.
