- Notice of Intent ? Sole Source. Operational Contracting, U.S. Air Force Academy intends to award a Sole Source contract utilizing simplified acquisition procedures to Cyber Defense Systems, Inc., 10901 Roosevelt Blvd, Suite 100 D, St. Petersburg, FL. The proposed acquisition is for 3 each Cyberbug Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 336411 and the business size standard is 1500 employees. System requirements are: A:Payload ? Can carry up to 12 additional pounds of payload as needed B:Portable ? Can be carried by one person (including ground station) C:Easy to use: Setup and take down (assembly) time less than 30 minutes. D: Hand Launched, auto landing, flight time over 1 hour E: Ground Station ? should contain autopilot capability ? with Battery, Power supply board and accessories. F: Wing Span ? Not to exceed 110 inches G: Weight ?Not more than 15 pounds H: Short delivery time 90 Days I: Zoom Camera J:Gas Powered K:Composite fuselage, Transparent wing materials,Auto Land Capability,Slow Speed takeoff and landing,Neutronics Motor, folding prop, engine mount, speed controller, Autopilot, GPS interface board. Any company that believes they can provide the requirements as stated above may submit their respective data and comments ( limited to 2 pages or less) not later than 1000 hrs., Mountain Time Zone), 17 September 2007. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for competitive bids or proposals. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis. This will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. This proposed acquisition is reserved for small business.
