- Description
- The Veterans Administration is seeking to award a single contract for inspection and testing of medical gas/vacuum pipelines at Eastern Kansas Health Care System (Dwight David Eisenhower (DDE) Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 4101 S 4th Street, Leavenworth, KS 66048 and Colmery O'Neil Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC) 2200 SW Gage Blvd Topeka, KS 66622) from this solicitation. Contract period will begin on or about September 25, 2007 or date of award thru October 15, 2007. Contractor shall test and inspect all devices and equipment for each Medical Gas/Vacuum system according to NFPA 99, CGA and the manufacturer's instructions. Any minor deficiencies shall be repaired. Included in this preventive maintenance and service contract shall be all labor, tools and other appliances necessary to complete the analysis in accordance with the statement of work. A written report, letter or certification and detailed recommendation of testing and inspection shall be provided to the VA Medical Center, EKHCS within 30 calendar days. Normal working hours are 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday thru Friday. The contract will be completed within twenty days (20) after contract award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811219. The Standard Industrial Classification is 7699. The solicitation will be posted on or about September 12, 2007. The small business size standard is $6.5 Million.
