Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 1052-7H7222a and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 316991 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. Department of State is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, completed, real-time bids. All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com. Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration. FOB DESTINATION CONUS In addition to providing pricing at www.FedBid.com for this solicitation, each Offeror must provide any required, NON-PRICING responses (e.g. technical proposal, representations and certifications, etc.) no later than the closing date and time for this solicitation. Bids must be valid for 30 days after close of competition. No Exceptions or Qualifications. A) The offeror shall provide the government, with its offer submission, written verification from the GSA schedule holder that an agreement exists that validates the offeror's right to offer the GSA schedule items on behalf of the GSA schedule holder, if other than the offeror; and, B) By proactively complying with this offer term, sellers accept that the government will make award to the GSA schedule holder only, as the sole awardee. Further, the sole awardee and only the sole awardee shall submit its invoice to the government and receive payment from the government. DS/T/ATA has identified Galls Tactical equipments as a key component for DS/T/ATA training equipment that meets the requiremetns and specifications in support of DS/T/ATA Special Security Services. Galls tactical equipmetn has proven to reliable and meets all the specification and requiremetns provided by teh coutnry coordinator and the trainers for the specific training course.The equipment including individual tactical equipment and vehicle equipment will provide a tactical edge for the trainees. The equipment provided by Galls Inc. will support the trainees with teh best training to successfully complete the mission of DS/T/ATA special security service course. As this is a brand name only justification, no one contractors unique qualifications are cited as the basis for this justfication. Rather, the products identified by brand name herein have been determined to be teh most cost effect means to meet the DS/T/ATA teraining support requirement.
