Description
This amendement addresses questions received to date: ARCHIVE SERVICES: This is deleted from the solicitation BOX DELIVERY: The OIG can accept delivery of empty boxes in bundles of 10 to 25. Historically, the OIG typically orders 1 or 2 bundles of boxes at a time. BOX SIZE: The boxes currently in use are 13.25 x 16.5 x 10.5 inches including the removable top. The OIG does not require this exact size of box, but would accept something with a similar size. However, the OIG will not re-box existing files, so the proposed facility should accept the current OIG box size. Boxes should be archival quality, double bottom, removal top type boxes with handle slots. ENTRY FEE: Entry fee is any cost associated with adding a new box to storage or returning a retrieved box back into storage. LOCATION: The facility should be no further than 30 miles away from 1425 New York Avenue, NW; Washington, DC 20005 RELOCATION COSTS: The OIG is preparing an estimated cost for potential relocation of existing files. Responses should not provide a quote for this cost. Our estimated cost will be applied to all responses to determine whether it is in the best interest of the government to relocate the existing stored files. RETRIEVAL FEE: The cost of removing a box from storage so that it can be delivered to one of the OIG locations. This would not include the delivery fee. SHREDDING SERVICES: Quoted prices for shredding services should be by the box. STORAGE REQUIRED: The OIG is current using approximately 3,000 cubic feet of storage. There are no immediate plans to reduce this amount of storage. TERMINATION FEE: This is the cost of removing a box from the system completely, either to be destroyed, returned to the OIG offices on a permanent basis, or at the end of the contract.
