Description: The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for an ATR-42 or equal, twin-engine, turbine-powered, passenger/cargo aircraft to serve as a special equipped, multi-role fixed wing aircraft. The DEA intends to negotiate, on a SOLE SOURCE basis, with ATR North America, Inc. of Herndon, VA. This procurement will be processed in accordance with the Commercial Items clauses of FAR Part 12 and the test program described in FAR Part 13.5. ATR North America is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required equipment. A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is on file.
