- SYNOPSIS The U. S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Federal Protective Service (FPS), has a requirement for armed and unarmed guard services at federally owned and leased facilities in the south western part of Washington DC. Award will be made using best value source selection procedures incorporating tradeoffs between price related and non-price related factors. It is the government?s intention to issue an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with fixed unit pricing. The contract will have a base period of one year with four option periods of one year each. The estimated start date is on or about December 1, 2007. The procurement will be issued as a 100% Small Business set aside. The successful offeror and its work force must be able to complete the licensing requirements for Special Police Officer within the District of Columbia. A Pre-Proposal Conference will be scheduled at a later date and that information will be shared will all firms that register prior to the conference. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 561612, Security Guard Services. The small business size standard is $17 million.
