FAX (702)839-5599 --------------------------- Description of Work- This solicitation and any resultant contract is a stewardship project in accordance with Section 323 of Public Law 108-7 (16 U.S.C. 2104 Note, as revised February 28, 2003 to reflect sec. 323 of J.J. Res. 2 as enrolled), the Consolidated Appropriations Resolution, 2003, amending Public Law 105-277, sec. 347. This is a commercial item acquisition that has been tailored to fit the Government?s method of trading goods for services. Timber portion of contract includes removal of 145 CCF of Jeffrey Pine and Other Fuelwood. Service portion of contract includes removal of tops and limbs left from fuelwood cutting operation. Suggestions for local areas nearby that can process any chips include cogeneration plants at Loyalton, CA and Carson City, NV. Resulting Contract ? Integrated Resource Service Contract. Project Location ? T18N R18E Section 33, past the Whites Creek Trailhead off of Timberline Drive. Site is aproximately 10 miles southwest of Reno, NV.
