Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Hardware, Software and Close-out Branch, Hardware Section (DITCO-PL8322), Scott AFB, IL, intends to issue a sole source purchase order to CACI Technologies, Inc., 14151 Park Meadow Drive, Chantilly, VA 20151 for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only notice. This acquisition, for DISA/GS24 is for the acquisition of the following: (1) twelve months warranty maintenance for 4 each Government owned PROMINA 200 nodes in various locations for the period from October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008, (2) twelve months warranty maintenance for 17 each Government owned PROMINA 400 nodes in various locations for the period from October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting clear evidence of their capability to provide/perform. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Oral communications are not acceptable. A written solicitation is not available. All responses must be received no later than COB 14 Sep 2007 to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government no to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541519.
