- The 96 Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for communication distribution boxes and 26 pair Cat 5e cable to DT Search & Design, LLC of Saint Joseph, MO under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Anticipated award date is 18 September 2007. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001: (2 EACH) J-2317 IP DISTRIBUTION BOXES CLIN 0002: (3 EACH) J-1077 IP DISTRIBUTION BOXES CLIN 0003: (2 EACH) J-2317 IP MOUNTING STAND CLIN 0004: (4 EACH) 250 FT, 26 PAIR, CAT 5E CABLE WITH U185 CONNECTORS WITH CAT 5E INSERT (REQUIRED MODIFICATION: ST FIBER OPTIC CONNECTORS ON BOTH J-2317 IP BOXES. CAT 5E LINE AMPLIFIER REQUIRED ON ALL BOXES.) The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334290, small business size standard: 750 employees. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. However, the government will consider all responses received within 4 days of publication. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
