- Description
- The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) Milwaukee, WI intends to negotiate and procure on a sole source basis from Biosense Webster of Diamond Bar CA, a M47000WCF Carto XP System for the Jesse Brown, VAMC Chicago, IL and the VA Hospital, Madison WI. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other vendor or product will satisfy agency requirements. To the best of our knowledge this is the only equipment which can acquire, analyze and display Electro anatomical maps of the heart, where the endocardial location and electrical information needed to create the cardiac maps is acquired simultaneously with the electrogram using dual catheters. The equipment required must be able to display the cardiac maps in a number of different formats: activation, voltage propagation, electrical potential and geometry maps and must also provide a location of accuracy of <1mm. NAICS 339112 with a Size Standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Biosense Webster. Cost associated with the preparation and submission of information and/or any follow-up information request are the responsibility of the vendor and these costs will not be reimbursed by the Government.
