- The specifications for the above referenced solicitation are hereby amended as follows: Line item # 0001, Cylinder Specifications, are hereby amended to read as follows: From: Diameter: 14.000 plus or minus 0.002 inches along entire length. To: Diameter: 14.000 plus 0.005 inches and minus 0.001 inches along entire length. From: ID Surface Roughness: 8 RMS or better To: ID Surface Roughness: 12-16 RMS or better From: Bore Straightness: plus or minus 0.002 inches over its length. To: Bore Straightness: 0.004 inches per foot. The following sentence under line item # 0001 is hereby by amended to read as follows: From: Piston designs that use a singe connecting rod are acceptable, but must contain provision for seal leakage detection. To: Piston designs that use a singe connecting rod are acceptable, but must contain provision for seal leakage detection/inspection near the center of the piston. The above amended specifications hereby supersede the drawings that are provided upon request. The specification package has also been amended. The amended specification package shall be provided upon request from the Contract Specialist at andrea.parekh@nist.gov. The due date for quotations is hereby extended from September 05, 2007 at 12:00 PM EST, to September 12, 2007 at 12:00 NOON EST. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (07-SEP-2007); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
