- Description
- The Government intends to award on an other than full and open competition contract, a Firm Fixed Price, five year requirements type contract. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, special tooling, test equipment and materi als/parts for Overhaul and Recapitalization of: T700-GE-700 Power Turbine Modules, Input/Output NSN: 2840-01-245-6002, P/N: 6064T98G01 minimum quantity is 5, and maximum quantity of 120 each; T700-GE-701C Power Turbine Modules, Input/Output NSN: 2840-0 1-286-1909, P/N: 6071T26G01 minimum quantity is 10, and maximum quantity of 108 each; T700-GE-701D Power Turbine Modules, Input/Output NSN: 2840-01-503-1700, P/N: 6071T26G02 minimum quantity is 1, and maximum quantity of 120 each. The overhaul and recapi talization will be accomplished in accordance with Depot Maintenance Work Requirement 1-2840-248-1 and 1-2840-248-2, with Change 8 and all applicable Maintenance Engineering Orders (MEO). The Power Turbine Module is a critical safety item and award must b e restricted to approved sources only. Award of this effort will not be delayed awaiting approval of other sources. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an est imated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies, not direct to AMCOM. NO telephone or e-mail requests will be accepted.
