- Description
- The Social Security Administration intends to issue on a sole- source basis a firm fixed priced purchase order to renew a yearly electronic subscription entitled, STAT! Ref from Teton Data Systems for online access to search and/or browse medical textbooks. Period of Performance shall begin January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008. Under FAR Part 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Sources Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13 will be used. Teton Data Systems is located in Jackson, WY and provides medical reference information to healthcare professionals and medical schools nationwide. STAT! Ref provides cross-searching of medical texts from various publishers. Teton Data Systems is the only known source that can provide these services. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, but merely notification of the Government's intent to renew its subscription with the Teton Data Systems. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response hereto will not be honored or acknowledged. The Government does not intend to pay for information provided in response to this publication. If an acceptable response is not received within 3 business days of this announcement, an order will be issued to the Teton Data Systems. Respondents should refer to 0919-07-1204.
