- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for Preventive Maintenance on a Cleanroom HVAC system located at NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center, building 30 DDL including PM emergency calls, parts, labor and repairs. NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the service and items from Honeywell International Inc.. The results of the market research identified Honeywell as the only provider that provides the above item. Authority is 10 U.S.C 23004(c)(1) only one responsible source. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement will be processed using the acquistion procedures as set fourth in FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquistion Procedures. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing, via fax or mail to NASA/GSFC, Attn: Janicea McCree, Code 210.3, Building 11, Room S209, Greenbelt, MD 20771 no later than 4:30 p.m. eastern local time on September 24, 2007. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B".
