- The USPFO for Texas intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Stonegate Apartments, LLC in Del Rio, Texas for 10 one bedroom and 30 two bedroom apartments. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solic it and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. USPFO for Texas has not identified any other sources that can provide this requirement. In September 2006, USPFO for Texas solicited for and awarded multiple award IDIQ contracts to 11 vendors statewide for lodging requirements for the Texas National Guard. There were no vendors able to provide lodging in Del Rio that could provide the required quantities of lodging required or that met the safety and security standards. The Stonega te Apartments were under construction at that time, and were not ready at that time to award a lodging contract for the complex. The apartments are now complete and available for occupancy. The anticipated award date of this order is on or about ten (10) days from the date of this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations.
