Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-07-Q-0681 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-09. This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside under NAICS code 451110 and small business size standard of $6.5M. Description: Qty 2 - Altimeter Test Chamber. Item #TC21: Military Altimeter Test Chamber. The TC-21 is a 110V portable test chamber designed to test up to 10 military Altimasters altimeters over a complete range of altitudes, regardless of ambient altitude. The TC-21 uses both vacuum and positive pressure sources to test from 1000 feet to 30,000 feet MSL. This test chamber is designed for users who are testing altimeters at an ambient altitude significantly above zero MSL. This means that you can be at 8000ft above sea level and test the altimeter as if it is starting at sea level. Please include shipping charges to Tucson, AZ 85707 and an estimated delivery date ARO.
