Description

The John D. Dingell Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI, 48201 intends to negotiate a sole-source procurement with Carestream Health Inc., 150 Verona Street, 4th Floor, Rochester, New York 14608-1733. The proposed contract is for preventative maintenance services for: 1)Two (2) Kodak Directview CR 950 Systems; 2) One (1) Kodak Directview CR 850 Systems; 3) Nine (9) Kodak Directview Remote Operations Panels; 4) One (1) Kodak Directview CR 8150 Laser Imager Printer. This equipment is utilized for the performance of Computed Radiography. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). All FAR provisions and clauses may be reviewed and/or obtained from the General Service Internet address: http//www.arnet.gov/far. This notice of intent is not a request for offers. No solicitation package is available. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses received, will be made entirely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Offeror must complete and return all information designated in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offers - Commercial Items.
