Description
The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration Academy (FAA), ATO Information Technology Office, AJA-12, has a need for Knoll Equity Systems Furniture, Files, Freestanding Storage, Conference Tables, Seating and Magna Design ADP workstations. DOT/FAA anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price type contract. National Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337214. Per AMS3.2.2.4; Based upon the requiring offices' justification for single source-brand name acquisition; Only these systems will match those installed in the existing ATO-IT offices. All systems must match for all existing workstations; this will allow for future reconfigurations utilizing both the new and the existing furniture. It will ensure continuity/standardization through ATO-IT. The FAA herein announces its intention to award a Firm Fixed Price Type Contract Inc for Knoll Equity Systems Furniture, Files, Freestanding Storage, Conference Tables, Seating and Magna Design ADP workstations. All interested sources should first attempt to download the Screening Information Request (SIR), Request for Offer (RFO) from the Internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for a copy of the SIR should be submitted in writing either via facsimile (405-954-3030),or via my E-Mail address. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Agency. All requests should be submitted to Steve Cundiff and reference SIR: DTFAAC-07-R-03709. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: DOT, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (SADBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
