Description
Amendment A001 issued to include attachment "GENRAD TS86/2286i TEST SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS" and to extend the Archiving date to 9/18/2007 The information details the model and configuration items that must be included in the Test System. MARKET SURVEY AUTOMATIC TEST EQUIPMENT PR NUMBER AC-07-03242 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement for an Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) commercially known as GENRAD Teststation 86 or GENRAD 2286i Test System, to replace the FAA's current ATE GENRAD 2272 Test System. The GENRAD Teststation is a vital and necessary electronic tool used by the FAA Logistics Center in the testing and repair of National Airspace Systems (NAS) Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA's). The ATE shall be equipped so that it is capable of performing incircuit testing and provide direct compatibility with FAA's existing GENRAD 2272 test systems. Test software must interface with existing fixtures and test programs designed to run GENRAD equipment. Only new or refurbished GENRAD Teststation 86 or GENRAD 2286i Test Systems will be considered. The FAA does not have technical data, plans, drawings, manufacturing specifications, and other necessary documentation for full and open competition. The contractor must have access to the OEM's specifications and drawing or be an authorized distributor of GENRAD Test Systems. Potential sources must provide documentation to the FAA showing proof of rights to use the data from the OEM or documentation identifying your company as an authorized distributor. Statements that data will be obtained or that specifications or drawings will be developed are not acceptable. Only those responses providing the required documentation in response to this market survey will be considered prior to further action by the FAA. Interested parties who can comply with and meet all of the requirements called out in this market survey must provide their responses with Market Survey File AC-07-03242, to arrive by September 14, 2007, no later than 2:30 pm CST. Email responses to sherrie.files@faa.gov. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing responses to this market survey. Any proprietary information should be so marked. This market survey shall not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the FAA to acquire these items. Responders to this market survey may be asked to provide additional details/information based on their initial submittal.
