- This is a sources sought Request for Information (RFI) for Travel Document Physical Testing. This is not a request for proposals and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs has a requirement for the testing of various travel documents such as Passports, Visas, etc. This RFI requires interested contractors to indicate their ability to fulfill the requirements stipulated in the attached Draft Statement of Work (SOW). Contractors who believe they meet these requirements are invited to submit a response in writing by 4:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on September 28, 2007. Contractors interested in performing this project must submit a Detailed Statement of Qualifications and Capabilities Statement which demonstrates their experience and ability in the field of work described in the attached draft SOW. Contractors must also submit an estimated cost or price range for these services. Your response should be not more than 10 pages. You may also submit supplemental materials if necessary that will not count as part of the 10 pages. Responses should be submitted electronically to Tracy Robinson, Contract Specialist, email: robinsontc@state.gov. No phone calls will be accepted. THIS RFI IS ISSUED SOLELY FOR BUDGETING AND INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY, AND DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY ANY COSTS INCURRED IN THE SUBMISSION OF ANY INFORMATION REQUESTED. RESPONSES TO THE RFI WILL NOT BE RETURNED. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION/REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, BUT A MARKET SURVEY TO LOCATE POTENTIAL SOURCES.
