- Western Area Power Administration intents to negotiate a sole source contract for the Consortium II with 24 Ports and its installation. The Consortium II is a conferencing server that can support multiple conference types, flexibility to control and administer the conferences with user friendly interface. One touch access can download recorded MP3 conferences. This is a commercial item acquisition per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the simplified procedures authorized by FAR Subpart 13.5. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this is 334210 and the business size standard is 1000 employees. This notice is not a request for quote/proposals. However, all interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities by emailing the Contracting Officer, Frances Gutierrez at gutierre@wapa.gov or by faxing 970 461-7377, no later than September 13, 2007. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm MST, Monday through Friday.
