- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is to respond to questions posed regarding meas detector and cell size as well as a request for information about the simulator in use at NIST. Question: The IEC standard specifies meas detector size based on dimensions of actual cell under test. Please either specify meas detector size or the dimensions of the cells to be tested. Answer: Measured size of each individual detector: between 100 nn x 100 mm and 175 mm x 175 mm. Question: If possible, please state the manufacturer and model number of the simulator in use. Answer: Berger Lichttechnik. The main system components are (1) Generator type PSS 30 (with a minimum 25 ms flash discharge duration), (2) Measuring Load type PSL8, and a tower configuration (area of test plane 2.1 m x 1.8 m) Berger's website is http://www.bergerlichttechnik.de/berger_lichttechnik/berger_lichttechnik.php All other terms and conditions remain unchanged and remain in full force and effect. The due date for receipt of quotes remains unchanged.
