- Description
- The Western Montana Acquisition Zone anticipates awarding a contract for road paving on the Flathead National Forest. The project consists of reconstructing 0.62 miles of the Canyon Creek Road No. 316 to a double lane standard from its junction with the North Fork County Road to the parking area which serves the Canyon Creek Snowmobile Trail System. The major items of work include, but are not limited to, clearing, excavation, corrugated steel pipe installation, furnishing and placing crushed aggregate base and hot bituminous plant mix, construction of a gabion retaining wall, and seeding. The Government estimates the value of the project to be between $100,000 and $250,000. The project must be completed by 30 Sep 2008.
