Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) WC1JW87213N277. This RFQ and the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acqui sition Circular (FAC) 2005-18. This is reserved for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 532412, small business size standard is $6.5M. Line Item 0001: Rental of a Caterpillar 140H Road Graders without operator and wit h 14 feet blades for snow removal from 15 Oct 2007 through 01 Apr 2008, to include delivery and pickup from/to Bldg 704 at Fort Richardson, AK. *The Vendor shall deliver rental equipment within 3 days of the Notice to Proceed and comply with all legal load restriction in hauling of rental equipment on Fort Richardson. Any mechanical problems or hydraulics leaks that develop the vendor is required to respond within 24 hours to make repairs or clean up hazardous materials. All equipment must be thoroughly w ashed prior to transporting and the equipment will be inspected prior to off loading from transport vehicle. The government will provide equipment operators to operate the rented equipment. The government intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract to t he responsible offeror whose total offer is the most advantageous for the government, technical capability and price factors considered.
