- THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for the purchase and installation of a new security forces badging system to include two printers, upgrades, card lamination module, applicable ID software, camerage package including camera & floor tripod, signature tablet, computer, training hardware/software & five card designs. This is a Sole Source with ColorID IAW FAR 6.302-1. ColorID is the only source capable of fulfilling the government?s requirement due to the computer systems being used by security forces. Color ID offers the necessary equipment along with several options/accessories that are compatible with this existing computer system. The proposed new combined system will integrate the new technology with the existing programs/computer. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item/service utilizes Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 3861 with a business size of small and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 333315. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/LGCB has determined that ColorID is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
