Description: The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis to the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) under statutory authority of Public Law 93-383 (which specifically authorizes agency and departments to contract with NIBS). This requirement is a follow-on contract for a Building Egress Workshop based on the report findings from the prior contract. Based on statutory authority, NIST has not identified any other sources that can provide this requirement. The anticipated award date of this order is on or about ten (10) days from the date of this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations.
